INVENTORY PLANNER

The inventory planner will be responsible for managing all inventory forecasts and purchasing.

Responsibilities:

· Provide strategic direction for inventory planning for three regional distribution centers

· Forecast appropriate inventory levels commensurate with sales forecasts

· Monitor, reconcile and report inventory levels

· Following up with order deliveries and ensure timely shipment of orders

· Coordinate physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy of inventory assets

· Manage inventory planning process for oversea suppliers

· Manage overseas suppliers’ production, ship and arrival schedules

· Review and measure forecast accuracy

· Master data maintenance

· Establish, maintain, and assess inventory turn for each of our distribution centers using history, sales plans, vendor criteria, and market trends

Qualifications:

-Minimum 3-5 years of inventory control, forecasting, planning and purchasing experience with oversea vendors with multiple distribution centers

-Proficient use of an automated inventory management system

-Experience with MRP systems and advanced Excel

-Bachelors degree is required

-Strong oral and written communication skills

-Self-Starter with the ability to meet deadlines
